Free Bulk URL Checker
Paste a list of URLs and see the status code, redirect chain and final destination of each one.
Free, with no sign-up. Fair-use limits apply. Text you paste is processed and not stored. To enforce the limits we keep any domain or address you enter and a scrambled form of your IP address for 30 days, as described in our privacy policy.
When to use it
Use it after a migration, before a redirect goes live, when auditing a sitemap or whenever you have a list of addresses and want to know what each one returns. It shows the response a crawler receives, hop by hop.
How to use it
Paste one URL per line and press Check URLs. Each result shows the status code, every redirect on the way and the final address, with problems such as 404 errors, redirect chains and slow responses highlighted.
Reading the results
- 200 means the page loaded and is usually what you want.
- 301 and 308 are permanent redirects, 302 and 307 temporary ones.
- More than one redirect is a chain and should usually be shortened.
- 404 and 410 mean the page is gone. 5xx errors mean the server is failing.
