Affiliate Terms
Last updated: 13 October 2026
1. How the programme works
Once we approve your application you receive a personal referral link. When someone follows your link, signs up and becomes a paying customer, you earn commission at the rate and for the period shown in your affiliate dashboard. The current rate, the period commission is earned for, the cookie window, the hold period and the minimum payout are set by us and shown in your dashboard. We may change them for the future; a change never affects commission you have already earned.
2. Applying and approval
You need an SEO Web Data account to apply. We may accept or refuse any application, and may run the programme as invite-only. You must give us accurate information and keep your payout details up to date.
3. How referrals are tracked
A referral is recorded using a cookie, and only if the visitor accepts cookies. If they decline, no referral is recorded and we cannot credit you. The first affiliate to refer a customer receives the credit. We do not guarantee that every person you send to us will be credited, for example where they clear their cookies, switch device or use an ad blocker.
You may not refer yourself, your own business or anyone you control, and you may not use your own link to buy. Referrals that we reasonably believe are self-referrals are not credited.
4. Commission
Commission is calculated on payments we actually receive from the customer you referred, excluding VAT and other taxes, or as a flat amount per referred customer, depending on the scheme in force when the payment is made. Commission is not earned on payments that fail, are refunded or are disputed.
New commission is held as pending for a hold period so that refunds and chargebacks can be settled, and then becomes approved. If a payment is refunded or disputed before you have been paid, the commission on it is cancelled. If it has already been paid to you, we may deduct it from your future payouts.
5. Payment
We pay approved commission by bank transfer or PayPal once your approved balance reaches the minimum payout. Payments are made manually, so allow time for them to arrive. You are responsible for any tax due on what you earn, and for giving us correct payout details. We may withhold commission while we investigate suspected breaches of these terms.
6. How you may promote us
- Be honest. Do not make false or misleading claims about us, our features, results or pricing, and do not promise rankings, traffic or revenue.
- Say clearly that you are an affiliate and may be paid if someone signs up through your link, in line with advertising and consumer protection rules.
- No spam and no unsolicited bulk messages.
- Do not bid on our brand name or trade marks in paid search, and do not use lookalike domains or imply you are us.
- No cookie stuffing, forced or hidden clicks, incentivised fake sign-ups or any other way of creating referrals that were not freely chosen.
- Comply with the law that applies to your promotion, including advertising, consumer protection, e-privacy and data protection rules.
7. Your personal data
We hold your name, account details and payout details to run the programme and pay you. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use them, how long we keep them and your rights.
8. Suspension and ending
We may suspend or end your participation at any time, and may withhold or cancel commission earned through a breach of these terms or through misuse of the programme. You may stop at any time by ceasing to promote us and telling us. Approved commission earned before then remains payable, subject to the minimum payout.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we will email affiliates. Continuing to take part after a change means you accept it.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
