Refund Policy

This policy explains how billing, cancellation and refunds work for SEO Web Data, operated by Cyber Investments Ltd trading as Seo Web Data (company number 17510180). It forms part of our Terms of Service (see section 4, Plans, billing and cancellation). Nothing here limits your rights under UK consumer law.

1. The short version

  • You can cancel at any time from your account. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • We do not normally refund a billing period that has already started.
  • We will refund payments taken in error, such as duplicate or incorrect charges.
  • If you are a consumer, you may have statutory cancellation rights (section 5). Those are not affected by this policy.

2. Free features

Our free domain tools and any free plan cost nothing, so there is nothing to refund. You are only charged when you choose a paid plan and complete payment.

3. Monthly billing and cancelling

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, at the price shown on our pricing page when you subscribe, and renew automatically until you cancel.

To cancel, use the billing section of your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period: you keep your paid features until then and you will not be charged again. If you would rather not do it yourself, you can contact us. Deleting your account cancels your subscription in the same way; it does not trigger a refund of the period already paid for.

4. When we do give refunds

Except where the law requires otherwise, we do not refund fees for a billing period that has already started. We will, however, refund you in full where:

  • you were charged twice for the same period, or charged an amount that does not match the price shown when you subscribed;
  • you were charged after a cancellation that was completed before the renewal date; or
  • a payment was taken as a result of unauthorised use of your payment method and you tell us promptly.

If something else has gone wrong, for example you were unable to use a paid feature because of a fault on our side, please tell us. We will look at each case on its merits and may offer a refund or credit at our discretion.

5. Your statutory rights as a consumer

If you buy as an individual, outside your trade, business or profession, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 normally give you 14 days from signing up to cancel a service contract. SEO Web Data is a digital service that begins as soon as you subscribe. If you cancel within those 14 days, you will pay only for the service you have used up to the point you tell us, and we will refund the rest. Once the service has been fully provided, the right to cancel ends. You also keep your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, for example if a paid service is not provided with reasonable care and skill. If you use the Service for business purposes, these consumer rights may not apply to you.

6. How to ask for a refund

Use our contact page and include the email address on your account, the date and amount of the payment, and a short explanation. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe and usually reach you within 5–10 working days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

Please contact us before raising a dispute (chargeback) with your bank. It is usually quicker for both of us, and we can often fix the problem immediately.

7. Affiliates

If a payment is refunded, any affiliate commission earned on it may be reversed. See the Affiliate Terms.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example if our plans or billing change. Changes apply to payments taken after the update, and the "last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
