Terms of Service

Last updated: 25 October 2026

These terms govern your use of seowebdata.com and the stats.seowebdata.com dashboard (together, the "Service"), operated by Cyber Investments Ltd trading as Seo Web Data ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17510180) whose registered office is at 6 Hill Rise, Seaford, United Kingdom, BN25 2UA. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you are agreeing on that organisation's behalf and confirming that you have authority to do so. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service does

SEO Web Data lets you add websites, crawl them, and receive a technical and on-page SEO report, a transparent 0–100 SEO score, and a prioritised list of issues to fix. Depending on your plan it also provides keyword and rank tracking, backlink and competitor data, AI search-visibility tracking, local SEO tools, monitoring and alerts, scheduled reports and digests, a client portal, an API and integrations, and free domain tools.

You may optionally connect your own Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 and Google Business Profile accounts (through Google OAuth) so their data appears alongside your crawl-based report, and you may optionally use AI-powered features. We may add, change or remove features and data sources over time; these terms apply to them without needing to be rewritten each time.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account, including activity by team members and client-portal users you invite. We recommend turning on two-factor authentication. Tell us promptly through our contact page if you suspect unauthorised access. You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date, and you must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract.

4. Plans, billing and cancellation

Some features are free; others require a paid plan. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, at the price shown on our pricing page when you subscribe. Plans include allowances (for example number of websites, monthly lookups, AI requests and team seats) that are stated on the plan; if you reach an allowance, the relevant feature may pause until the allowance renews or you upgrade.

You can change or cancel your plan at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access until then. Except where the law requires otherwise, we do not refund fees for a period that has already started (see our Refund Policy). If a payment fails, we may suspend paid features until it is resolved. We may change prices or plan allowances with reasonable notice; a change takes effect at your next renewal, and you may cancel before then. Prices exclude any taxes that apply, which we will add where required.

5. Websites you add to the Service

You may only add websites that you own, or that you have the legal right and authorisation (for example as an agency acting for a client) to crawl and analyse. You are responsible for that authorisation — we rely on your confirmation when you add a website and do not independently verify site ownership. The crawler respects each target site's robots.txt and applies hard limits on crawl depth, page count and request rate so it behaves as a well-mannered, identifiable bot, not as a way to bypass a site's own access controls. Some features (such as competitor tracking, backlink data and brand-mention monitoring) look at other people's public websites and pages; you agree to use that information lawfully.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • crawl or analyse a website without authorisation to do so;
  • circumvent robots.txt, rate limits, authentication, plan allowances or other access controls of any third-party site or of the Service itself;
  • probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to it or to another customer's data;
  • send spam or unlawful marketing (including outreach to contacts you have found through the link-building tools — you are responsible for complying with anti-spam, privacy and marketing laws), distribute malware, or violate any applicable law or third-party rights;
  • scrape or bulk-copy the Service's data, or use the API or connectors beyond the rate limits and terms of your plan;
  • resell or provide the Service to third parties except as part of a legitimate agency/client relationship where you remain responsible for that third party's compliance with these terms.

7. Agencies, clients and team members

If you use the Service for clients, you are responsible for having the right to add their websites and data, for telling them how their data is used, and for the client-portal users and team members you invite and the access you give them. You must not give portal access to anyone who is not entitled to see that client's data. If you use a custom portal domain, you are responsible for the domain, its DNS and its certificate. In respect of your clients' personal data, we act as your processor as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Google integrations

Connecting Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 or Google Business Profile is optional and requires you to authorise access on Google's own consent screen. We request read-only access for Search Console (webmasters.readonly) and Analytics (analytics.readonly). For Business Profile, Google offers only a single scope (business.manage) that permits editing as well as reading; SEO Web Data only reads and does not edit your profile, reply to reviews or publish posts. Business Profile features also depend on Google approving access to its Business Profile APIs and may be unavailable until it does.

You can disconnect any integration at any time from your dashboard, or revoke access from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements, as described in our Privacy Policy — including that data from Google is sent to an AI provider only if an owner or admin of your account turns that on. Your use of Google's products and data is also subject to Google's own terms, which you accept separately. Google data is provided by Google, may be delayed, sampled or incomplete, and we do not guarantee its accuracy.

9. AI features

AI features are optional, run only when you use them, and produce suggestions, not facts or guarantees. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, so review it before relying on it or publishing it. You are responsible for how you use it. Data received from Google is not included in prompts sent to AI providers unless an owner or admin of your account turns on "Use Google data in AI answers" under Settings > AI Assistant, as described in our Privacy Policy. Do not enter passwords, payment card numbers or other sensitive personal information into AI features or the Sera chat. AI features may be limited by plan allowances or a spending cap, and, where you supply your own provider key, by your provider's own terms and charges.

10. Third-party data and estimates

Some data in the Service comes from third parties — for example SEO data providers (rankings, backlinks, traffic estimates), search and AI engines, public directories and social platforms. It is labelled as third-party or estimated where relevant, is provided as is, and may be inaccurate, delayed or unavailable. Metrics such as SEO scores, authority scores, traffic estimates and visibility indexes are our or our providers' own calculations, not Google metrics or guarantees of search performance. Integrations with Slack, Microsoft Teams, Looker Studio, Google Sheets, Stripe and other services are subject to those services' own terms.

11. WordPress plugin and one-click fixes

The optional SEO Web Data Fixes plugin lets you queue and apply suggested changes (such as titles, meta descriptions, canonical URLs and image alt text) to your own WordPress site. Nothing is changed until you choose to apply a fix. You are responsible for reviewing each change, for keeping backups of your site, and for the result of applying it. Changes can be reverted from the dashboard, but we cannot guarantee that a revert will restore every edit made outside the Service.

12. Your data and our licence

You retain all rights to the content of the websites you add and to the data you put into the Service or generate from it, and you can export it. You give us a limited licence to host, copy, process and display that data only as needed to provide, secure and support the Service for you (including sending the emails, alerts, reports and integrations you set up), as described in the Privacy Policy. You confirm you have the rights needed to give us that licence.

13. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, design, data compilations and the SEO Web Data name and logo are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own (or your clients') SEO analysis while your account is active. You may not copy, reverse engineer or resell the Service except as the law allows or as these terms permit. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.

14. Privacy and cookies

How we collect and use personal data, including analytics cookies on our own sites (which are consent-gated), is described in our Privacy Policy, and the cookies we use are listed in our Cookie Policy. The Privacy Policy also describes the analytics on our own sites, which are separate from the Search Console and Analytics data you connect for your own websites.

15. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access, and features (including which checks, scores, data providers or integrations are offered) may change as the product evolves. Where reasonably possible we will give notice of material changes that affect your use of the Service. Planned or emergency maintenance, or problems with third-party services we rely on, may cause interruptions.

16. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service, including its SEO scores, issue lists, recommendations and AI output, is provided "as is" and "as available" and is intended as informational guidance, not a guarantee of search-engine ranking, traffic, or business outcomes. Search-engine ranking factors and algorithms are outside our control and change over time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

17. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Subject to that, to the fullest extent permitted by law, SEO Web Data will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 6 months before the claim arose (or £0 / $0 if the Service was used free of charge).

18. Your responsibility for claims

You are responsible for claims made against us by third parties that arise from your breach of these terms, from adding or analysing a website you were not authorised to, or from content, outreach or changes you make using the Service, and you agree to reimburse our reasonable losses from those claims, to the extent the law allows.

19. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms — for example by crawling websites without authorisation, or attempting to abuse or circumvent the Service's rate limits and access controls — or if required by law, and, where practical, we will give notice first. When an account ends, we handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and governing law) will survive.

20. Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising from them or from the Service, are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer you may also have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live.

21. Changes to these terms

We will update the "Last updated" date above when these terms change, and for material changes we will provide a more prominent notice (for example a dashboard banner or email) before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

22. Contact us

Questions about these terms can be sent to us through our contact page, or by post to Cyber Investments Ltd t/a Seo Web Data, 6 Hill Rise, Seaford, United Kingdom, BN25 2UA (company number 17510180).
