Free SERP Snippet Preview
Type a title, description and address and see a preview of the search result on desktop or mobile, with warnings when text is likely to be cut off.
Free, with no sign-up. Fair-use limits apply. Text you paste is processed and not stored. To enforce the limits we keep any domain or address you enter and a scrambled form of your IP address for 30 days, as described in our privacy policy.
Why pixels, not characters
Search results are cut off by width, not by character count. A title full of narrow letters fits more than one full of capitals. The preview measures the text in pixels using typical result fonts and shows where it is likely to be truncated.
How to use it
Enter the title, the meta description and the page address, choose desktop or mobile and press Preview snippet. You see a mock result, the measured widths and advice on titles that are too long, too short or missing.
An estimate, not a promise
Google decides what to show and may rewrite titles and descriptions. The limits used here are estimates based on typical results, so treat the preview as a guide. Write titles that make sense to a person first.

Frequently asked questions
What is the ideal title length?
Roughly 50 to 60 characters, or up to about 600 pixels on desktop, but pixel width is what counts.
Does Google always use my description?
No. It often writes its own from the page content when it thinks that better matches the search.
Is my text stored?
No. Only the address you enter is kept for fair-use accounting.
