Free Favicon & Web Manifest Checker
Enter a website and we find its favicon, touch icons and web manifest and check they load and are the right size.
Free, with no sign-up. Fair-use limits apply. To enforce them we keep the domain you enter and a scrambled form of your IP address for 30 days, as described in our privacy policy.
Small files, visible mistakes
Favicons show in browser tabs, bookmarks and search results on mobile. A missing or broken one looks unfinished. The web manifest controls how the site behaves when installed on a phone.
How to use it
Enter the website address and press Check icons. We read the page for icon links, try the standard locations, fetch the manifest and report what loads, the sizes found and any missing pieces.
What to have
- A favicon in SVG or PNG plus a classic favicon.ico fallback.
- An Apple touch icon of 180 by 180 pixels.
- A manifest with a name, icons of 192 and 512 pixels and a theme colour.
